Dr. Sidharth Ramesh, Founder

A doctor by training, but a developer at heart. Founded Medblocks in 2015, and currently serves customers all around the world to deliver healthcare better. Dr. Pramod D. Jacob, Consultant

MBBS, MS Medical Informatics

After completing his medical degree from CMC Vellore and doing his Master of Science in Medical Informatics from Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in the US, Dr. Pramod worked in the EMR division of Epic Systems, USA, and was the Clinical Systems Project Manager in Multnomah County, Portland, Oregon. He has been a Healthcare Information Technology consultant to Benton County, Oregon, and Santa Cruz County, California.

In 2007 he relocated to India and did consultancy work for the state governments of Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh. He was a member of the HIMSS Global EHR Task Force and the lead for India in the task force. He was also a consultant for WHO India in the IDSP project and for PHFI for a mhealth Non-Communicable Diseases Decision Support Application - mWellcare.
At present, he is the CEO of DHIndia Association, a professional organization representing the Digital Health professionals in India, and the Medical Director of dWise Healthcare IT Solutions, involved in the designing and implementation of Clinical Information Systems and the EHR for the company. He is a member of the EHR/ HIT standards committee of India under the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and a member of the ISO-TC 215 international health informatics committee for these standards. He is involved with the NDHM program as a volunteer and coordinating the Loinc India Work Group and also involved with the FHIR India community in advocating FHIR for digital health interoperability. He is a senior consultant with Medblocks.

Dr. SB Bhattacharyya, Consultant

MBBS, MBA, FCGP

Dr. Bhattacharyya is a medical professional and health informatics expert with around 34 years of experience. He has been associated with US and Indian multinational IT companies like Oracle, GE, and TCS. He has successfully designed digital health solutions and mentored healthcare IT system developers and implementers in delivering quality solutions. He is currently a Member of, Health Informatics Sectional Committee, BIS. In the past, he has been Honorary State Secretary, IMA Haryana State for IMA Year 2015, and Member, EHR Standards Committee, MoH&FW. Since 2018 he has been providing consulting and training in digital health standards, Electronic Health Records, clinical decision support, and clinical data analytics.

He is the author of “Introduction to SNOMED CT” and “A DIY Guide to Telemedicine for Clinicians”, both of which are published by Springer Nature. He additionally has several national and international publications on various health informatics-related topics that include remote patient monitoring and big data analytics in healthcare.

His main areas of interest include healthcare informatics standards, interoperability, clinical data analytics, predictive analysis in medicine, applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for treatment protocol planning, EHR designing, enabling healthcare IT standards, and remote patient monitoring.

Kritika Goyal, Business Analyst

Kritika Goyal is a business analyst in Medblocks. She graduated in Biotechnology followed by a post-graduate Diploma in Leadership and Governance. She did MBA in Healthcare Administration with a specialization in Health IT. She is a focused and goal-driven person. She is a quick learner and believes in teamwork. With good communication skills and leadership qualities, she can easily interact with people. She knows EHR systems, Healthcare IT Standards and Interoperability, workflow Management, and health informatics.

Athul K Nair, Co-developer

After completing graduation in BSc Physics, he started preparing for Indian Civil Services for a year in the urge to enter into a  government job. Later, he took a chance to learn to program, believing in his aptitude, problem-solving skills, and love for computers. He learned backend development using javascript through a 5 months boot camp, in which he learned frontend development by himself parallelly. After that, he built himself as a FullStack Developer, which in turn ended up him as a Developer at Medblocks. Within months, he grasped the whole flow of health informatics, and different services used like FHIR and openEHR. Now he works as a co-developer of Medblocks-UI

Nishtha Mahajan, Frontend Developer

She is pursuing graduation in Computer Science; she decided to learn and pursue her growing interest in programming. One of her college seniors guided her and helped her in starting Frontend development using Vue js. She built some basic apps and found that programming really excites her. She kept on learning and joined some internships, and eventually ended up joining Medblocks as a Frontend Developer intern. After a few months, she was a Frontend Developer and not just an intern.
